Go Big or Go Home!

So we made it through the reunion week having a blast. Goosey had a ball wth her cousins and tells me everyday that she wants to go back and see them. Teen D loved spending quality time with her aunt doing a special sewing project and helping her cook. As our visit ended it was time to get back on the dreaded plane! Our trip was delayed by one day due to the hubby getting sick. As a result we had to get the kids up at 5:30 am to head to the airport. Goosey was not in the best of moods. While waiting to board the plane, hubby told her that if she did a good job behaving on this long trip home, tomorrow he would take her to Toys R Us to pick out a special treat. I know he figured he'd be purchasing some barbie, polly or princess toy of some kind. A few minutes passed and to keep her focused on this cool "bribe" because she started to get a little fussy, I asked her, "So what do you think you'll want to pick out if you behave?". She immediately looked at her dad and said with a smile, "I'm going to get a new bike!" She is one smart cookie. You might as well set your goals high, right? Anyways, she did an amazing job on both flights and the lay over inbetween, so the next day we were off to the toy store to get her 1st big girl bike. Way to go baby!!
