Tag, you're it!

My brother recently posted a blog about lazer tag- well what about good old fashion" playground-I'll chase you-you chase me- tag"? Well, a Santa Monica elementary school has banned the game of tag, once synonymous with youth and innocence, because they say it creates self-esteem issues among weaker and slower children. (What a load of crap!!) Well, I guess maybe they should play it how my Goosey does. This past 4th of July, Goo was trying to get her friend Pickle to play tag with her on our newly planted grass in the backyard. She kept running up to him, touching him and yelling, "Tag, your rich". Now even if your slower and weaker...at least your richer than the other guys! This may eleviate some self-esteem issues, don't you think?

Anyways, I kept trying to tell her it was "Tag you're it!" Trying to explain that "It" was the person who now had to do the chasing. But she insisted it was "Tag, you're rich.". Her grandpa came to the conclusion it must be a La Jolla game. Where she comes up with these things, I'll never know.
